Our Story
More than just Food
"I’ve always believed that the kitchen is the heart of every home. However, that’s not always true when you have a job to attend, mouths to feed, and bills to pay. Nevertheless, once in a while, a good home-cooked meal serves as a necessary reminder to enjoy the simple things in everyday life. This philosophy has been true for me since my youth and continues to hold significance to this very day.
Growing up in my home country, the Philippines, my siblings and I worked very hard to earn money. My older brother, Romeo, who was an especially picky eater, couldn’t wait to finish the day because it meant we were closer to supper. My mother always prepared his favorite meals, and it consistently brought joy to his face, even in his worst moods. Although we didn’t have much as a family, we were always grateful for each day given.
Fast-forward many years later, I started a restaurant in dedication to my brother, Romeo, who still lives back home. Our menu is inspired by my family’s secret recipes and Filipino cuisine. More than that, we strive to deliver wholehearted food for the busy individual, the community member, and the passionate foodie lover. We’re very thankful for being included in the community and for every person we get a chance to feed."

How we Started
Our restaurant's journey began with a passion for food and a desire to share it with others. It all started by catering to intimate gatherings, from friends' get-togethers to family celebrations and even weddings. As we poured our heart and soul into crafting delicious dishes, something magical happened. People fell in love with our food, and the word spread like wildfire. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, we decided to take the plunge and open our own restaurant. It's been a fulfilling journey, one that started with the joy of cooking for loved ones and blossomed into a culinary adventure we proudly share with our community every day.

Our mission is to create a dining experience that celebrates the bold and diverse flavors of Filipino cuisine, while also providing a fun and approachable atmosphere that welcomes everyone. We believe that food has the power to bring people together and that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the unique and delicious dishes of our restaurant.To achieve our mission, we are committed to using fresh, high-quality ingredients in all of our dishes, while also staying true to traditional Filipino recipes and techniques.
Future Visions
Our vision for the future is to expand Romeo Must Taste to multiple locations, so that more people with have access to enjoy our foods. We are committed to maintaining the same level of quality and authenticity in all of our restaurants, while also adapting our menu to reflect the unique tastes and preferences of each community we serve. Ultimately, we believe that with hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, we can achieve these goals.
